We've had a very busy Summer here at Croan during which we were delighted to welcome back some old friends and meet many new ones. Overall, we enjoyed three months of great weather with plenty of good sunshine and are now enjoying quite an Indian summer this September as the blackberries ripen and the leaves begin to change.

We were fortunate to have a mild Winter in which we had the great pleasure of seeing Croan blanketed with snow for the first time, albeit very briefly. The Spring has been, for the most part, mild and temperate, with some spells of heavy rain. The result has been lush growth all around, including a spectacular display of daffodils.

It's been a whole year since we arrived at Croan Cottages in beautiful County Kilkenny and what a year it's been! The animals have settled in well to their new home and Bella has been getting to know the neighbouring dogs. She's still trying to teach every one she meets how to play 'stick.'
