"Very nice, comfortable cottage with a contemporary feel. The decor was clean and fresh...
The cottage is situated in a courtyard in a group of five, behind the main house, and this was very well laid out and pleasant.
There are extensive grounds for guests to use, and the hens, dogs etc. roaming free on site add to the experience.
Because of the rural location, you really feel that you are in the middle of nowhere, but local villages are easily accessible within minutes and the nearest large town, Kilkenny, is only about 20 minutes drive away, so the cottage is ideally located.
The hosts, Niamh and Francis, were extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them.

So often, 'dog-friendly' accomodation is very basic, but we found everything to be of the highest standard and wanted to say well done!

Hi Francis and Niamh

We have arrived home after our WONDERFUL journey around Ireland.
For such a small country compared to Australia. There is so much to see and we saw such a small amount. A beaut excuse to return another time.
We all really enjoyed staying at your cottages and had a delightful time on our walks and day trips from there.
We were not sure if Niamh cooked the meal for our last night herself but we ment to complement her on our departure as it was delicious.

Superb accommodation, superb location. Also a great base for exploring the South of Ireland. Thanks for being such great hosts - on our next visit we intend to completely fill the bottle re-cycling box!
