Take the kids to The Watershed in Kilkenny city for a swim or SplashWorld in Waterford.

Visit Kells Priory and explore the old Monastic ruins and Castles! J

Visit some of the Beaches J and amusements near Tramore.

Visit the Reptile Village, Gowran, Co. Kilkenny.

Playgrounds are scattered throughout the county. Among the best are Castlecomer (large), Thomastown and Kilkenny Castle. J

Fishing in Castlecomer lakes, rods are available to hire at the lake.

Explore the Dunbrody Famine Ship and hear what life was like for those who emigrated from Ireland in the 19th century.

Try your hand at Karting at Kiltorcan.

Take a trip on the Waterford and Suir Valley Railway - this is a real favourite of ours. Kids love the narrow gauge railway and the scenery along the track is beautiful.
