I very much enjoyed the butchery course. Everything about it - facilities, teachers, food (Yum) - was wonderful and the whole thing very good value for money.

The cottage was really nice and spacious. The countryside around is beautiful. It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Thanks Francis we really enjoyed our stay!

Really impressive course and renewed my respect for the animals I love to eat but don’t think about nearly enough. Venison was delicious and it was a privilege to see her handled with such care by the Butchers.

Brilliant stay - all the necessary amenities in a quiet, clean cottage - well situated for touring around Kilkenny and the sites around. Lovely piece of (working) farmland - plenty of space for the kids to run around and see animals (sheep, llamas, turkeys, peacocks, etc). Francis couldn't have been nicer... fantastic host - will definitely be back again :)

I had a lovely afternoon on saturday at the Smallholding Course and have recommended it to loads of people since -it was great the weather stayed fine and that we got so much packed in!

Great weekend as always Thanks again to yourself and the lads for everything. Anne loved every minute of it as well and the house is full of mustard pears,yougurt hanging in muslin from shelves everywhere and mountains of chopped cabbage! Oh,and I robbed the pot of jam from the cottage!
