We stayed in one of your cottages for 10 days ending a couple of weeks ago. Paddie and I both enjoyed our stay immensely and with her daughter's wedding taking place at Mount Juliett the location was so convenient! The cottage was absolutely ideal and our dog Murphy enjoyed the many walks and with Kilkenny being a short drive away there were lots of places to visit. I would recommend your cottages to anyone looking for a quiet break in beautiful countryside - thanks Francis particularly in such challenging times in which we find ourselves!! G&P.

We stayed at Croan Cottages in June 21, a family of 2+2 , we found the cottages spacious and comfortable with all we needed for a relaxing family holiday. The location is very suitable for a restful break , with nice open spaces for the children to enjoy, yet Croan is within close driving time of Kilkenny , Waterford, Kells, Thomastown and Inistioge so an ideal base for touring the sights in the area if you choose to. Francis and family were lovely hosts, available if you needed something but not intrusive. We would like to visit again sometime in the future.

Very cute cosy cottage on a ridiculously pretty farm. Peacocks, hens, sheep, alpacas. Perfect location for exploring Ireland's 'Sunny South East'. Very central for Kilkenny, Waterford, Wexford and Tipperary. The cottage is one of five behind the main farmhouse. Very well equipped, great central heating and a fireplace.

“We had such a good time, Francis, both the peacock and the old tractor were big hits. I just realized when we got home though that we forgot to wash the grillpan. Mortified. Hope that wasn’t a dreadful surprise for you!”
