Events at Croan and in Kilkenny

Long established and ever popular the Lavistown House Mushroom Hunt is led by Roger Goodwillie. This year, we are delighted to be hosting the hunters for lunch after their search in Castle Morres next door.

This year, we will be offering a residential option for those coming on the course.

The Mushroom Hunt takes place on Saturday 15th October from 10am to 5.30pm. Most of the time will be spent out searching for fungi in all their variety of shape and colour but then will cook and taste the edible ones.

There are just 16 places on this course which sell out fast so book a place soon on the Lavistown site.
